Use RETaiL POS lawfully, keep your account secure, review your business records, and pay any agreed fees on time. We provide tools to help operate a retail business, but you remain responsible for the commercial, tax, employment, and legal decisions made through your workspace.
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, accessing a workspace, or using RETaiL POS, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
If you do not agree, you must not access or use the service.
Accounts and authorised access
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Workspace owners control staff access, roles, stores, and permissions. Each person should use their own authorised account and keep login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activity performed through your workspace, except where caused directly by our failure to apply reasonable security measures. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
What RETaiL POS provides
RETaiL POS provides software tools for retail operations, which may include point of sale, products and variants, inventory, purchases, customers, suppliers, staff, payroll, expenses, receipts, returns, and reporting.
Features may evolve as the service improves. Unless agreed separately in writing, RETaiL POS does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or employment advice.
Your business responsibilities
You are responsible for checking product prices, costs, tax rates, stock, payments, payroll inputs, reports, receipt content, and other records entered or generated in your workspace. You must maintain any records required by the laws that apply to your business.
You are also responsible for your hardware, internet connection, printers, scanners, payment providers, backups or exports you choose to retain, and the conduct of people you authorise to use the service.
Plans, fees, and payment
Paid plans, included features, billing periods, taxes, renewal rules, and cancellation terms will be shown when you subscribe or agreed with you separately. You authorise us or our payment provider to collect applicable charges using your chosen payment method.
Fees already earned are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in your plan.
Your business data
You retain ownership of the business data you submit. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that data only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have the right to collect and use any customer, employee, supplier, and transaction data entered into RETaiL POS. Our handling of personal information is also subject to any applicable privacy notice.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls, disrupt the platform, access another customer’s data, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or facilitate fraudulent transactions.
You must not resell or provide access to the service unless we have agreed to it in writing.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep RETaiL POS reliable and secure, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, upgrades, internet outages, emergencies, or events outside our reasonable control may affect access.
Some functions may depend on third-party services or devices. Their availability, terms, and performance are controlled by their respective providers.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service subject to your plan terms. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, respond to unlawful activity, prevent harm, address overdue payment, or enforce these terms.
When an account ends, access to workspace data may cease after any stated retrieval period. Export important records before closing your account.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for business decisions and for verifying records before relying on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Any further liability limits should be read together with rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, security, or business changes. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or your registered contact details.
